The Tracie Jacket

I named this one after my mom, Tracie.

My mom brings love into every situation she walks into. She cares deeply, sometimes maybe a little too much, and she's the one who notices the small things nobody else does and makes sure they're right.

That's exactly why this jacket is hers. Every inch of it has been fussed over. Patches of pink, orange, and turquoise cotton are pieced together by hand, the appliqué flowers are outlined stitch by stitch, and tiny embroidered stars are scattered over the whole thing. Turn around and there's a full medallion worked across the back. Even the inside got attention, with a coral and white stripe lining that shows when you roll the cuffs.

It's a lot of detail, made with a lot of care. Just like her.

How to wear it this fall: The Tracie Jacket is a lightweight cotton layer, which makes it an easy fall jacket for warm afternoons and cool evenings. Wear it over a tee with denim and boots for rodeo season, game day, or the pumpkin patch, or layer it over a dress with a turtleneck once the weather turns.
