The Red Dirt Cross-Stitch Jacket

Y'all, I can't stop touching this one. Every inch of the Red Dirt is covered in dense, hand-worked cross-stitch, so thick and raised you can feel the pattern with your fingertips. Cherry red, forest green, royal purple, and little pops of marigold come together in starbursts, pinwheels, and fern-like chevrons. The back is pure art, with a big starburst centered right between the shoulders that looks different every time you turn around.

Then you roll the cuffs and get the surprise. It's lined in soft cream quilting with faded threads of color running through it, so the inside is just as special as the outside. Wear the sleeves long and it's all bold color, or cuff them and show off that contrast.

The little details matter too. There's a classic point collar and pink enamel flower buttons down the front. It has patch pockets at the chest and hip that disappear right into the stitching, plus a relaxed, boxy fit that layers over a maxi dress, a tee and jeans, or your favorite pearl snap.

No two of these come out exactly alike. Our artisans stitch each piece by hand, so the pattern placement shifts from jacket to jacket. Yours will be one of a kind. It's heavy, it's handmade, and it's made to be worn for years.
