Sagebrush Kantha Patchwork Jacket

This one is soft and faded in all the right ways. It starts with a vintage kantha quilt, all those tiny running stitches done by hand, and then gets layered with big chain-stitch suzani blooms in coral pink, mustard, blush and sage green. Every panel is cut and pieced so no two sections match, and the whole thing is trimmed in our black and white striped piping.

I love it over a white tee and flares with boots, or thrown over a slip dress when the evenings start cooling off. It's the kind of jacket people stop you to ask about.
