Drucilia Velvet Jacket - Aqua

I named this one after my grandma, Drucilia, one of the women behind this brand. It's the first jacket in a collection where the cut and the collar are completely ours. You won't find this shape anywhere else.

The Drucilia Velvet Jacket is a hand-embroidered velvet statement jacket with a slightly cropped body and longer sleeves. It sits 2" shorter than our other velvet jackets with 3" more sleeve, so it lands right at the waist over a dress or high-rise denim, and you can push the sleeves up or cuff them. Open it up and every single jacket has a different lining. No two are alike on the inside.

This is the Aqua: a deep teal velvet with embroidery in sage, mint, blush, and terracotta. It's embroidered by hand and made in small batches by the artisans we work with in India. The Drucilia also comes in Rust, Mocha, and Gold.

Where to wear it

Rodeo season and NFR, game day, concerts, a girls' trip to Nashville or Fort Worth, holiday parties. It dresses up jeans and boots and it layers over a maxi dress.

Good to know

Is it true to size? It's one size with a relaxed fit and a 46" bust, and it fits sizes 2 to 14.

Is it warm? It's lined velvet, so it has some weight to it and works as a fall and winter layer.
